Your events are a huge opportunity to connect, say hello, find out, learn...nothing but good out there. So, yes, be out there asking, seeing, appointing, card gathering, booth visiting. D, All of the Above. Make notes, and follow up. Make it an event to maximize and build off of.

The last thing you want to do is sound like a road worrier that's repeating something for the 1,000th time. Well before your trip begin, this step should be a done deal. It's the homework. Get it done. If you know your audience and your topics and your sponsors and what is expected of you, the order of op is a simple outline. Work on it, get it done. Be yourself and address what is most important. Then review it for every possible question and objection. Have your notebook for this part, and if you know your business, you'll know the questions, objections and be able to follow a path that's efficient and beneficial to your group. Then, get good at bringing it all together. Like thread the needle from 20yards out good! Then kill it

Moving forward from the plan ahead piece, Be Healthy, Healthy, Healthy. Figure out where the Farm Fresh, Grass Fed, Wild Caught, Clean Greens, Anti-Inflammatory supply chain is. Get the Proper Sleep. You don't need booze when you travel...No wine, nor beer. The rest of your life has room for that. This is game day. Treat it like a PRO. Healthy eating, be relaxed, and no this is not the time to rip 6 miles on the tread mill. You wouldn't run a marathon before a Super-Bowl...Like IBM said...THINK. All the best. Nail it.

1) Have your schedule mapped out well in advance. 2) Have your topics well outlined, this would include to topics of importance to your audience that fit the title/goal/outcome of each meeting. 3) Know your topics, ice cold, in your sleep cold. 4) Place them in logical order of progression. 5) Create your outline, a. that you will use, b. add any presentation content that support that order. 6) Build extra time gaps into your schedule to absorb any logistical delays. 7) Plan out your tech, compatibility, and know your Tech crew contacts for verification in advance. 8) Plan your sleep, healthy eating, mental clarity, and energies accordingly. 9) Clothing Complete when traveling. 10) Being this prepared should relax you and result in success.

We seem to be blending some items here that need separation. Cost benefit is a result of the business that you run. That filters down to your value and overhead. Once you've decided on a business framework that works, you can granularly do the math per situation, but keeping it in a manageable framework with rare exceptions is good practice.
